Dear EnrichHER community,
We are deeply saddened by the murder of George Floyd, as well as the recent murders of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. Police brutality is unacceptable, and those who abuse their power must be held accountable. Like many cities across the country, our own city of Atlanta has seen peaceful protests escalate into violence. We’ve also seen innocent protestors being targeted by police and agitators inciting violence across the country. We are grieving with our city and our country, as we all understand the frustration to be denied our own human rights.
The EnrichHER Team is diverse in race, nationality, social background, gender, and education. Each of us have committed our work to taking a stand against injustice through the work we do at EnrichHER. We are committed to counteracting inequality and providing opportunities in spite of institutionalized racism and institutionalized sexism that serve as the backbone of the United States’ financial infrastructure. Everything that we provide—from coaching to funding—is so that we reach our collective goals and serve as the leaders of our own economic power.
